I spent the fifteen minutes spamming Chant and Cackle to stack Hexes.
I did Unfair and LA (independently - I'm not insane) legitimately. I wanted to see what Lich was like, and skipped some of the tedious "walking around" part of the campaign. There are also great cheat tools (I adore "take 20 out of combat," for example) that make the game more enjoyable.
You don't have to move through six area transitions and then spawn a random encounter to find out if something works.
The ability to Respec in zones, spawn hostiles, and instantly rest makes testing builds much faster. So, you don't lose 200k in scrolls (some of which aren't available late-game) if you need to swap from an Enchantment focus to Evocation. It has the option to generate a copy of your Spellbook as scrolls if you Respec a prepared caster. You don't have to entirely rebuild your Druid to make his bear swap from Aggressor to Racer. It has a Respec button that works on animal companions. The "encounter rate" slider makes finding the Skeletal Salesman (and Ingor Maggor) faster. Instead of spending ten minutes manually stacking Hexes every time you change zones, it takes 15 seconds. "Extend Hex Duration by ten minutes out of combat" makes Witch and Shaman less tedious to play. The Lower City has issues, but the Middle and Upper City are flawless. Sure, you can use it to cheat, but I just used it to navigate Act 4 more quickly. Teleport to cursor makes navigating large zones much faster. There are a ton of useful, non-cheat functions.
